Joyce Makori, RN, CGCP, Owner of JoyTera Care Homes
Joyce Makori is a registered nurse and Certified Geriatric Care Provider with over one decade of nursing experience and an extensive resume. After receiving her Registered Nurse certification, Joyce worked diligently as a nurse for Kindred Hospital in the Northgate neighborhood of Seattle. Over the last few years, Joyce has realized her vision of managing a group care home, and thus, JoyTera Care Homes was born. Joyce's main inspiration comes from her mother, who suffers from dementia. Subsequently, Joyce cares for all clients with the same love and care as she does for her mother.
Yvonne Loniasi
Yvonne Loniasi is a full time volunteer for JoyTera, and she OWNS the kitchen!
After caring for children in a Paris child care center, she discovered her love of caring for seniors at JoyTera Care Homes in Seattle. Yvonne is a bright light in the home and loved by everyone .
It is a privilege to have Yvonne as a perfect complement to our team.

Camelia Moise, NA-C
Camelia Moise is
a rare gem in the caregiving world; experienced, skilled, dedicated and kind. Her communication skills are excellent, as is her ability to spot potential health issues early on.
Moreover, Camelia is an outstanding cook, especially when it comes to preparing healthy, tasty and hearty European meals.
Betty Njeru
Betty Njeru is a
Home Care Aide Certified caregiver (equivalent to Certified Nursing Assistant).
She has worked for Joytera Care Homes since early 2017, and provides a great amount of stability and care to our residents. She is very kind, caring, trustworthy and reliable.
Besides the qualifications mentioned above, Betty completed her Dementia specialty training, and all other required certification, and then some!
